Egyptians had invented the perfume a long time ago and they are the one who had used the perfume for the first time. The ancient Egypt was very rich in culture. From the religious programs to the everyday wear, they used perfume everywhere. The aroma of lily was widely used in the ancient society to describe their status. Both male and female loved to wear perfume in their everyday activities. Perfume and fragrances are the symbols of cleanliness. The ancient Egyptians used to give more priority in the cleanliness and as the symbol of cleanliness, they used perfume widely. Though Egypt is the origin place of perfume, a few days later the other people of the globe also started using perfume. After the Egyptians, Romans and the Arabs started using perfume in different ways. Paris and China have also been enriching the history of the fragrance for a long time. Paris started commercial production of perfume from 1190 and since then the perfume industry had started blooming.
How perfume is made?
The essential oil has a great contribution in producing the perfumes. Fragrant oil extracted from the trees and animals have been using making perfume for a long time. The Egyptians used different types of essential oil to make best perfumes at their time. But the recent formula of producing perfume is much more complex than making if ancient perfume. With the growing demand of perfume worldwide different ingredients and formulas have been using in manufacturing perfume. Ethanol is widely used in making perfume. However, the concentration of fragrance is depended on the quality of the perfume. The top quality perfume contains up to 40% of fragrance concentration where the lower one contains only 2% or 3%.
So, this the long history of the evolution of perfume since the ancient age.
